① Ultrasonic welding head frequency parameters
The working frequency of the ultrasonic welding machine is determined by the ultrasonic transducer, ultrasonic amplitude rod and ultrasonic welding head. The frequency of the ultrasonic electric box is adjusted according to the mechanical resonance frequency to make the ultrasonic welding head work in a resonant state. The ultrasonic electric box and the mechanical resonance frequency have a resonant working range. If it is set to 0.5 KHz, the ultrasonic welding machine can basically work normally. The ultrasonic welding head adjusts the resonant frequency, requiring the error between the resonant frequency and the design frequency to be less than 0.1 KHZ. For example, at 20KHz, the frequency of the ultrasonic welding head will be controlled at 19.90-20.10 KHz, with an error of 5‰.
② Ultrasonic welding head node
When the ultrasonic welding head and ultrasonic horn are in working state, the amplitude of the two end faces is the largest and the stress is the smallest, while the amplitude of the node is zero and the stress is the largest. The node position is generally designed as a fixed position, but the thickness of the fixed position is usually greater than 3mm, or it is fixed in a groove, so the fixed position is not necessarily zero amplitude, which will cause some noise and some energy loss. The noise is generally isolated from other components by rubber rings and shielded by sound insulation materials.
③ Ultrasonic welding head amplitude parameters
Ultrasonic amplitude is a key parameter for welded products. If the temperature of the welding head does not meet the material requirements, welding cannot be performed. If the temperature of the ultrasonic welding head is too high, the material will be burned, and the product will be structurally damaged and the strength will deteriorate. The output amplitude of the general ultrasonic transducer is 10-20μm, and the ultrasonic amplitude is generally around 30μm. The transformation ratio of the ultrasonic amplitude rod and ultrasonic welding head is related to the shape of the ultrasonic amplitude rod and ultrasonic welding head, the front-to-back area ratio and other factors. The general shape is exponential amplitude, function amplitude, step amplitude, etc., which has a great influence on the transformation ratio. The front-to-back area ratio is proportional to the total transformation ratio.
